Tax Return Drop Offs

Drop‑Off Tax Document Option

If you’re unable to come in for an appointment, dropping off your tax documents may be the most convenient option. You can submit your documents in any of the following ways:

  • Email - Taxprep@deathandtaxesokc.com

  • Fax - If you plan to fax your documents, please inform us beforehand.

  • Mail - Please do not send via certified mail.

  • In‑person drop‑off at our office.

Please Include:

  • A completed Drop‑Off Form

  • A copy of your photo ID

  • All relevant tax forms - If you’re unsure which documents to provide, please review our Tax Organizer​​

Processing Times
​

During the busy season, drop‑offs can take up to four weeks to be completed depending on complexity. If you need your taxes prepared quickly, it is recommended that you schedule an in-person appointment for the fastest turnaround.

  • Drop-Off tax returns are done in the order they are received.

  • Current year tax returns have priority and amendments from previous years will be completed after the April 15th tax deadline.

  • If you drop off your tax documents for preparation and are missing tax forms or deductions that are necessary to complete the tax return, we will enter all documents provided and move your return to the back of the line.

  • Documents must be provided to us in a timely manner. Any missing tax forms or deductions provided after April 1st; an extension will be filed on your behalf; we will try to complete your taxes as quickly as possible however if they are not completed by April 15th, we will complete them after we return from break in May.

  • If you drop off your taxes for preparation after April 1st, an extension will be filed on your behalf, and they will be prepared in the order they were received.  

  • If we have not completed your drop-off tax return by the tax deadline, an extension will be filed on your behalf. We will complete your tax return when we come back from our break in May.

**To speed up processing if you are emailing documents to us, please email them in PDF format. We will accept JPEG however this can slow things down. Images from APPLE devices must be converted from HEIC to JPEG or PDF for compatibility. Non converted HEIC images will not be accepted. Apple iCloud share files are not accepted. Please convert these files into PDF.
