If you book and appointment, we need your details to ensure that we can book your appointment. But we always handle your personal data with care. We take care of them and keep them safe. We are happy to tell you here what we do with your personal data and why we need it. H & H Accounting and Tax Services, located at 2417 Eagle Drive, Del City, OK 73115, is responsible for the processing of data as described in this privacy policy.

 

When does this privacy policy apply?

This privacy policy applies to all personal data that our firm processes from anyone who has (had) contact with our firm, such as clients, visitors, and business contacts.

 

What is personal data?

Personal data is all data that can be traced back to you as an individual. Just think of your name, telephone number, address or e-mail address. And other data that is unique to you, such as your orders or messages.

 

From whom do we process personal data and how do we get this data?

We process the personal data of anyone who has (had) direct or indirect contact with us, such as current or past clients, (business) customers and contact persons of partners. We receive the information directly from you when you order or send us a message. In some cases, we can receive your data from others. When someone books an appointment for you, we receive your name and address details. We can also receive information from other parties, but only if you have given those parties permission to provide certain information to us.​

Data for processing your order
If you book and appointment, we need certain information (full name, phone number, address, filing status, any specific notes and others) from you to be able to book your appointment and to keep you informed about your order. This information is also required for any returns. For this we collect your name, e-mail address, mailing address(es) and your telephone number or any related data. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information, if you contact us directly. The data is necessary to execute your documents. By law, we must keep the data related to your return/appointment for up to 10 years. We can also use your data as necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving my services. We use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; and 2) Compliance with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. We use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Information with your order

We store the following information in relation to your appointment: your name, (mailing and residential / business) address (es), telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth (if you have provided one).

 

We also store your booking history in our account including notes provided, including the services and subscriptions you have taken out.

 

In addition, we store the interests you have specified in your account, namely your personalization preferences.

 

Information about your contact with us

You may send a message or write an email to us 24/7. We use the data stored in your account to contact you in response to your question or complaint to us.

 

We can help you faster next time by storing your data. We, therefore, keep notes about customer contact with us.

If sometimes you call us, the telephone conversation between you and us (or my employees) can be recorded. We have a legitimate interest in using these interactions to improve our services. We save the telephone conversation for 12 months.

When you send us a private message via any social media platform, the messages will be stored by us for a maximum of 12 months.

 

Self-set preferences

You can indicate your preferences with our firm when you book your appointment.

We analyze past bookings from our clients and market research.

 

Data for reviews & questions

We love reviews and our clients too. Because reviews help you find what you are looking for. When you write a review, you choose whether your personal information or your name is visible to other visitors. You can also use an alias. We may contact you about your review. Reviews are valuable to customers for a long time.

When you ask us a question via messages or email the same rules given above will apply to you shared data within your question.

Data to prevent fraud

Nobody is waiting for security incidents and fraud, including us. That is why we use personal data to investigate, prevent and combat unauthorized access and fraud. For this, we can also use the services of external service providers.
 

Social media
If you use social media such as Facebook, you can share our listings with your friends on your social media account. Our firm cannot access your social media account. We recommend that you carefully read the privacy policy of the social media parties where you have an account so that you know how your data is used and how you can adjust your settings.

Information about my clients is important to our business. We share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

Downloads
If you purchase a downloadable item, such as a virtual tax return, from our firm you will receive a copy of the document/s via email.


Other External Service Providers
We also engage other external service providers to help with various things. Sometimes they also need personal data for this. We only share the data that is necessary for the assignment that the external service provider carries out for us. We do not sell your information to these service providers or other third parties. And we conclude agreements with all external service providers in which we agree with what they can do with the data.

Government: United States of America

Sometimes we must pass on personal data to the government. This may, first of all, occur if certain government institutions need this information for the performance of their duties. The police or judicial authorities may also need certain information in the event of fraud or something else. Certain regulators may gain access to personal data in the context of an investigation.
 

Only at your request: with other companies

If you wish, we can also pass on your personal data to other companies. We will only do this with your explicit consent.


Where do we store your data?

We store your data in the United States of America. However, it may happen that certain data that we collect is transferred to or stored at a destination outside, for example, because one of our external service providers is located there. We take many measures to protect your personal data. Both organizational and technical. We personally take care of your data as well. Right of access
You have the right to request access from me at any time to the information that we have available about you. You can request this via message or email. We process applications within 30 days at the latest.

Right to correction
You have the right to have your personal data corrected if it is incorrect or outdated and / or to have it completed if it is incomplete. You can do this via message or an email to us.

Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your data if you do not agree with the way we process your personal data. For example, you can ask us to no longer use your data to send you promoting messages.
 
Right to Restriction
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your data. This means that we may keep your data but not use it. This right arises in a number of cases. If you believe this is the case, you can contact us via message or email. Mobile numbers will not be shared or sold with third parties.
 
Right to be forgotten
You have the right to request that we delete any information we have about you. When you submit a request to delete your data, we will delete data that can be traced back to you, except for the data that we must or may keep based on the law. We offer you the option to submit a request via message or an email.
 
Right to file a complaint
You have the right to file a complaint about the way in which we handle your data. If you have a complaint, we prefer to resolve it with you. Please contact us via message or email. If we become unsuccessful in this, you may resort to all available means.
